If you look at the popularity of electric cars by region, then everything is ambiguous. The largest number of Tesla Model 3 fans live in the United States, Australia, China, and India. The BMW i8 (hybrid) is chosen by people in Africa, Russia, and Japan.

Analysts also analyzed the number of queries to Google for other hybrid models and PHEV. Most often, consumers were interested in Toyota Prius - 353,755 requests. The most popular were: Hyundai Ioniq, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, BMW 330e, 530e, Audi A3 e-tron, Kia Niro PHEV, Volvo XC90 Recharge T8, Porsche Cayenne PHEV, and Kia Optima.
