On the website JamesEdition, specializing in the sale of luxury items, there was an ad for the sale of a hypercar McLaren Speedtail - the fastest car in the British brand's history. McLaren valued the vehicle at 3,990,000 euros, which is equivalent to 4,846 million dollars.
The odometer of the car, located in Hamburg, Germany, shows a mileage of only 125 kilometers. These are the only details about the coupe for sale - the rest of the information about the car promises to provide a potential buyer in person.
The McLaren Speedtail, which debuted in October 2018, became the ideological successor to the legendary F1 model, which from 1993 to 2005 was the fastest production car in the world. Like the F1, the Speedtail coupe has an unusual "1 + 2" seating formula with a driver's seat in the middle, a little farther away and on the sides of which are two passenger seats.
The hypercar with the construction of composite materials is equipped with a hybrid power plant based on a four-liter twin-turbo V8 with a capacity of 756 hp, which is paired with a 312-horsepower electric motor. The total output of the units is 1050 horsepower. The McLaren Speedtail can accelerate to 300 km / h in 12.8 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the Bugatti Chiron. The maximum speed of the car was 403 km per hour.
As in the case of the McLaren F1, McLaren limited the Speedtail to 106 units and sold out them before production began.
